Christine McInerney, originally from Philadelphia, PA, moved to Knoxville in 1985 with her family. For Christine, it was love at first sight with the beauty of the East TN mountains, lakes, and streams. Christine graduated from Farragut High School and then attended the University of Tennessee where she obtained a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry and Secondary Education. Christine then proceeded to UTK graduate school where she got her Masters of Science. Christine is a seven-year veteran of the Knox County Public school system where she worked as a high school Biology teacher.
Christine currently resides in Knoxville with her family, including her spouse and best friend, two daughters (16 and 15), 3 cats and 5 dogs. In her free time, Christine enjoys spending time with her family and pets by taking advantage of the wonderful children, pet-friendly, and family-centered activities the Greater Knoxville / Maryville area has to offer. Christine is also an avid outdoors lover and enjoys exploring the wonders of the East TN mountains and countryside. Boating, trail running, and hiking/swimming trips with their two Border Collies are amongst the family favorite past times.
