Where: Seven Islands State Birding Park / 2809 Kelly Ln. Kodak
Happy New Year! Let us start the new year off on the right foot by getting out of the house and into the outdoors. Come join the rangers of Seven Islands State Birding Park for an easy to moderate 2.5-3.0 mile hike along the trails of the park. The final route of the hike will be determined as the event gets closer due to weather and trail conditions. The staff will discuss the history of the park, management practices, upcoming programs, and volunteer opportunities at the park. Make sure to bring your cameras or binoculars for capturing the beauty of the scenery and observing the birds and other wildlife in the park. We will meet at the Bluebird Barn by the main parking lot on Kelly Ln at 1:00 PM. Please bring water and appropriate clothing and footwear for the hike.
Let them know that you'll be joining on the hike by pre-registering online by clicking here. This is a free hike with donations optional, but they would like to get an idea of how many of their fellow hikers to expect for the hike.

Watch & Listen: The Hangover Night w/ The Knoxville Ice Bears
It’s the day after NYE and we all know our heads are feeling larger than life, join the Knoxville Ice Bears for a larger-than-life experience of your worst (or best) night out. Pre-registered contestants can submit their best (or worst) photos of themselves, or a lucky (potentially unlucky) friend to race on the big ice with fellow big heads!
