Do: Spring Tree Walk 

When: Saturday, April 8th, 9am-10:30am
Where: Knoxville Botanical Garden & Arboretum / 2743 Wimpole Ave. Knoxville       

Right now the trees are beautiful! Dogwoods are blooming EVERYWHERE! Take a Springtime walk through the Knoxville Botanical Gardens. You can join this guided tour led by a Board Member and former staffer. You will learn more about their unique and historic tree collection. This is not to be missed!

The cost is $5 for non-members, and free for members. If you are neighbor in the 37914/37915 zip code you also get free entrance. 

All ages are welcome, and participants should meet up at the visitor center on Wimpole Ave.
 

Eat & Drink: Easter Treats Event @ Marble City Sweets!

Everyone needs some sweet treats for Easter! Marble City Sweets is hosting an "Easter Treat Event." There will be $2 cookie decorating and you can build beautiful Easter baskets filled the sweet treats and Latte Love Designs will also be there to help you fit your baskets with darling jewlery pieces. Try: Natural Dyes For Easter Eggs

Where: Seven Islands State Birding Park / 2809 Kelly Ln. Kodak   

Bring your own pre-cooked eggs to Seven Islands State Birding Park and dye them naturally using a variety of plants like: dandelions, elderberries, and cabbage. Learn about the dyeing process and then take the opportunity to color your own eggs. 
While your eggs are soaking in their dye bath you can enjoy the trails in the park. 
The cost of this program is $6 per dozen eggs that you plan to dye. Come by yourself or bring the whole family! White eggs work best, but you can get some interesting colors using brown eggs too.

Egg Hunt Fun: Easter Hunt Black Light Style

Looking for something different than a traditional egg hunt? How about a black light lit Easter egg hunt for all ages! At Foothills Mall in Maryville across from TJMaxx they will have a huge setup with over 500 plus filled eggs. You will have a limited amount of time to grab as many eggs as you can.
