Try: Tour de Lights

When: Saturday, December 11th at 5:30pm

Where: The Ride Begins in the Old City at the Corner of Willow St. and Patton Ave.             

Tour de Lights is a fun, free, family friendly bike ride through the Old City, North Knoxville and downtown, ending in Market Square. Participants are encouraged to get in the holiday spirit by decorating themselves and their bikes. The event engages neighborhoods and businesses, along with others who come out to view the festivities. The route is approximately 5 miles long and should take about an hour to ride at a comfortable pace. All streets along the route will be clsoed for the event. All participants are encouraged to wear helmets and use white front lights and rear reflectors for safety.

Free photos with Santa in his sleigh, cookies and hot cocoa, and then the evening will be topped off with a Christmas program that starts at 6pm. RIO East Church will also be giving away Blessing Baskets to anyone in need of food for their Christmas dinner. 

Watch & Listen: Christmas Drive-In at Chilhowee

Where: Chilhowee Park Midway, Knoxville 
       

Enjoy a free holiday event in Chihowee Park at the Midway. Christmas Drive-In at Chilhowee features activities from sponsors including Muse Knoxville and free photos with Santa followed by a free drive-in movie presentation of Dr. Suess' How the Grinch Stole Christmas(2000) starting at 7:00 PM.
