Do: Mardi Gras at Alliance Brewing

Get ready to unleash the Mardi Gras magic at Alliance! Join in for a whirlwind of activities for everyone. They will be embracing Mardi Gras all weekend long leading up to Fat Tuesday. Let the good times roll!

Activities offered on Saturday:
  • Make your own beads and/or masks for kids and adults - all day long until supplies last
  • Hurricane hard seltzer on tap
  • King Cake for sale starting at 12:30pm
  • Gumbo themed potluck at 1pm (we will provide bowls, utensils, and rice)

Eat & Drink: Limited Edition Cider Chocolate Release

When: Beginning Sunday, February 9th, 11:30am

Mark your calendars for the upcoming Limited Edition Cider Chocolate Release! Barrelhouse has partnered with Bellafina Chocolates to produce four unique truffles made from their very own Apple Butter Drifter, Tea Leaf Reader, Queen of Swords, and Vaudevillian.

Beginning February 9th, you can buy them at Gypsy Circus in Kingsport & Barrelhouse in Knoxville - but you'll want to act fast! These delicious chocolates are only available while supplies last.

$25 for cider and chocolate pairing in House!

Bellafina Chocolates donates 100% of profits to children's charities and is staffed almost entirely by volunteers. They operate under Abundantly Blessed Ministries, a non-profit corporation dedicated to helping threatened women and children.

Try: Sunset Hike 

When: Saturday, February 10th, 5pm-7pm
Where: Seven Islands State Birding Park / 2809 Kelly Ln. Kodak

It is hard to think of a better way to close out your day than an easy 2.5 mile hike to the island and watching the sunset paint the sky over the French Broad River. Join Ranger Stephanie for this sunset hike along the Bobwhite Trail and across the pedestrian bridge to the island. We'll discuss the birds, wildlife, plants, trees, and other wildlife that call Seven Islands home. Registration for this program is $8.00 per person.

Participants should plan on meeting Ranger Stephanie at the Bluebird Barn at 5:00pm. Please bring appropriate footwear and water. Pre-registration is required for this program. Register at tnstateparks.com
