Do: Indoor Winter Farmers Market 

When: Saturday, January 6th, 9am-12pm
Where: St. Mary's School Gym / 323 Vermont Ave. Oak Ridge  

Shop local farmers, bakers, prepared foods, artisans, and more! There will be live music and artist demonstrations. This event is free entry, free parking, and indoors so you will stay in the warmth!

SNAP/EBT benefits are doubled at the Welcome Desk, up to $20 per day for fresh produce. 

FREE Nourish Kids Club, ages 2 to 12. Children taste a veggie and get $5 in Produce Bucks to spend at the market. 

You can also order Market-To-Go items online for distrbution on Saturday morning: veggies, fruits, greens, coffee, pantry items, flowers and plants, herbs and spices, dairy, meats, and much more! 

Eat & Drink: Cobbler Time in Karns!

Where: Advance Auto Parts Parking Lot / 7700 Oak Ridge Hwy. Knoxville

East Tennessee's first AND only Cobbler Food Truck will be in Karns at the Advance Auto Parts parking lot (7700 Oak Ridge Hwy) on Sunday, January 7th, 5-7:30pm.

Join the fun with tasty, freshly-made, warm fruit cobblers topped with ice cream, whipped cream and more! Add a cup of hot coffee or creamy cocoa for the ultimate Winter treat.

Wear your favorite pj's and bring your favorite stuffed animal to a special evening storytime at the Clinton Public Library. 

This program will appeal the most to Pre-K and early Elementary ages, but all are welcome!

Watch & Listen: Winter Tales with the Smoky Mountain Storytellers

When: Sunday, January 7th, 2:30pm-4:00pm

Where: Ijams Nature Center / 2915 Island Home Ave. Knoxville

The Smoky Mountain Storytellers Association is back again at Ijams. Join in the rich heritage of storytelling with them as they offer "Winter Tales", where tellers share some of their personal favorite stories to warm the heart. You’ll find a multitude of telling styles and genres among their members: whether it’s traditional Appalachian tales, classical stories from foreign lands, contemporary fiction, or personal narratives, you’re never quite sure what you may find as the next story unfolds.

 Doors open at 2 pm, stories begin at 2:30. Tickets for this event are $10 for adults and $5 for kids (ages 5-12).  This event is for all ages.

This event will happen in the large events room at the Ijams Visitor Center. Dogs are not allowed at this event.

This beloved drive-through light show has become a favorite family tradition for many, and this year is sure to impress! With the new location comes a longer drive route as well as captivating new additions, including majestic 25-feet-tall trumpeting angels, a star-studded pathway, and much more.  Plus, guests will explore the enchantment of the season through custom-built “Santa’s Safari” themed comical displays, featuring eventful jeep excursions, spirited keep away games with hippos, hilarious diving contests, and more safari fun with friends from the North Pole. The mischievous elves are sure to sprinkle in some surprises along the way too. After the show, visit Snowy Mountain Village inside Soaky Mountain Waterpark for loads of fun for the whole family, including refreshments, souvenirs, activities for kids
