Pick-Your-Own Sunflowers, Hayrides, Photo Ops, Flower Trails, Food & More!

Head to Philadelphia, TN to capture the beauty of stunning sunflower fields with your camera! Explore, photograph, and revel in the natural wonder around you. Wander through the fields, soak in the picturesque views, and relish the experience. Enjoy a tractor-pulled hayride around the sunflower fields or pick your own bouquet of sunflowers to take home. 

You can also play and explore the farm and feed the goats, play cornhole, check out the creek, and more. The snack shack has delicious treats and buy some sunflower jewelry and more!

Painting Around is hosting a fun-filled event at The Little Ponderosa Zoo and Rescue, featuring splatter painting and painting animal pots for the whole family. Fifty percent of all proceeds will be donated to the Rescue. The Little Ponderosa Zoo and Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing exotic animals from across the United States and providing them with forever homes. Come enjoy a day at the zoo, create some beautiful art, and support a great cause!

The Smoky Mountain Blues Society is excited to present live music on the Star of Knoxville Riverboat with its monthly River Cruise.

This week's performance is by the SlideWinder Blues Band. Boarding begins at 3:15 pm.

The SlideWinder Blues Band brings a powerful blend of Texas and Chicago contemporary blues, infused with the vibrant sounds of the Mississippi Delta and New Orleans. Hailing from Doylestown, PA, this dynamic band features regulars from the renowned "Every Thursday Funk n’ Blues Jam," a weekly blues jam session originally held at Puck Live in Doylestown and now at Havana New Hope in New Hope, PA.

Friday Fireworks: Powell Community Fireworks

When: Friday, July 5th, 9:45pm
Where: Crown College / 2307 W Beaver Creek Dr. Powell

If you didn't get enough fireworks on the 4th then join The Crown College on Friday night for Free Powell Community Fireworks. There will be a watermelon feast and fireworks will begin around 9:45pm. 

Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Lights snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase.
