Brewfest is back!

Tailgating For a Cause is thrilled to announce the12th annual Knoxville Brewfest, coming to World's Fair Park Lake in downtown Knoxville, TN on Saturday, June 24th.

This year, we're bringing back the two different sessions including the fan favorite Brewfest evening session! Early session is from 1pm-4pm and the second session is from 6pm-9pm.

Breweries, beer, and enthusiasts from all over will gather for a summer afternoon sampling fresh beers of all colors, styles and flavors.

Tickets will include entry to the festival, a commemorative tasting glass, festival map, live entertainment, and beer tastings for all your favorite breweries.

Proceeds of Knoxville Brewfest will benefit CureDuchenne.

Eat & Drink: Plant Based Junk Food in Knoxville 

When: Friday, June 23rd. 5pm-9pm

Where: Next Level Brewing Company / 700 North Broadway, Knoxville 

Vegan and Junk Food, yep you read that right! Vuture Food will be bringing out their popular crispy chik'n sandwiches and loaded fries. 

Their fries are made with GF ingredients. Their patties are made from a combination of soy, wheat, and peas. They are entirely nut-free.

Try: Sunset Paddle      

When: Saturday, June 24th, 7pm
Where: Knoxville Adventure Collective / 900 Volunteer Landing Ln. Knoxville

Go for an evening paddle on the Tennessee River as the sun sets behind the downtown Knoxville skyline. The night lights from the city create a unique paddling experience. Each renter is provided with a LED light to keep you safe on the water. Night paddles launch each Saturday night from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.

Join Seasonal Ranger Paul to make some cool T-shirts. Make your own T-shirt with your favorite animal’s tracks on it. Just bring your own white T-shirt and everything else will be provided.  Make sure to bring some water and sunscreen and to meet at the table outside the visitor center.

Watch & Listen: Knoxville Opera's Enchanted Garden - A Musical Journey Through Fairytale

When: Sunday, June 25th, 2:30pm

Where: Ijams Nature Center / 2915 Island Home Ave. Knoxville 

Join Knoxville Opera and Ijams for a magical afternoon of music inspired by your favorite fairytales! Immerse yourself in enchanting melodies and let the captivating voices of the performers transport you to a world of wonder. This family-friendly program will include familiar favorites from stage and film, and introduce you to operatic takes on the stories we all know and love!

Tickets for this performance are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students, children under 5 are free. Guests are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets and will be seated on the lawn in front of the pavilion near the front entrance of the Visitor Center. Doors open one hour before the performance.

In the event of rain at performance time, this event may be moved indoors or may be postponed to a later date.

Freedom Fun: Alcoa's FreedomFest 

When: Saturday, June 24th, 6pm-11pm
Where: Alcoa Duck Pond / 1325 Springbrook Rd. Alcoa

FreedomFest is back for the first time since 2019. Fireworks will begin after the sun sets. There will be food and craft vendors, a kid's cove, and local entertainment that will be stationed around the pond. See the list of over 30 food and craft vendors here
