Eat & Drink: Brunch & Browse at Central Filling Station 

When: Sunday, March 13th, 11am-3pm
Where: Central Filling Station / 900 N Central St. Knoxville 
       
Each Sunday Central Filling Station will be hosting a Brunch and Browse. There will be vendors and art for you to browse while you are hanging out at the park (and of course... eating).

Try: Wood Burning Class, Making a Family Monogram

When: Friday, March 18th, 5:30pm-7:30pm
Where: Spark Tank at Creative Spark Studio / 2009 East Broadway Ave. Maryville
       

Join Madi as she teaches you how to wood burn your monogram.

Come learn how to turn plain wood into a unique, hand-crafted piece of artwork that can become an heirloom piece to pass on through the generations.  

Students will use a wood burning tool to burn their custom letter monogram onto a 8” live edge bass wood. 
You must provide the large letter (monogram letter) and name you would like to burn into the wood.  
What to bring :
Students must bring hair tie for medium to long hair ( shoulder length and down) and a mask to help keep you from inhaling smoke.  
They provide everything needed to complete your project. $60 includes all materials and instruction + $5.20 booking fee per attendee.  Balance collected at studio.

This is a family friendly community event so everyone is welcome. There will be an egg hunt with all natural eggs! Please bring your own basket. We will also be providing supplies to naturally dye your own eggs from 11AM until supplies last! Adults may enjoy the accompanying farmer’s market with Spring animals and produce. Candy will be offered after the hunt to all participants!

Watch & Listen: East Tennessee Bluegrass Association Monthly Jam

When: Saturday, March 20th, 2pm-5pm

Where: Ijam Nature Center / 2915 Island Home Ave. Knoxville 

East Tennessee Bluegrass Association (ETNBA) and Ijams Nature Center are partnering to bring folks together in a safe way to create music in a beautiful space! Join the fun at a community jam session for all acoustic bluegrass instruments (no harmonicas or spoons at this time) every third Sunday from 2-5 pm (winter hours).

All skill levels are welcome. Pre-signup is requested to get an idea of how many people will participate. Jam sessions will be held at the Visitor Center during the winter months and will move to Mead's Quarry during nicer weather. Bring your own chair and enjoy the show! Masks are required when in the jam group indoors. Not a musician? Feel free to come out and enjoy the music! Always FREE and open to the public.
