Not Your Average Farm Tour is not a run of the mill farm tour but a unique and memorable experience like none other! Axe throwing, alpacas and wine tasting, what more could you ask for?

Your experience will include an instructional introduction followed by 30 minutes of axe throwing at 865 Axe Throwing. Take a short 15 minute drive down the road to Rocking Chair Farm. Here you will tour the farm, meet many different animals, and have the opportunity to interact with alpacas. Another short 15 minute drive brings you to The Winery at Seven Springs Farm. Enjoy a complimentary tasting which will include 10 of our wines, ciders, juices and wine slushies. You will also receive an amazing charcuterie tray with a variety of meats, cheeses, jelly and pickles to enjoy. Total drive time is under 30 minutes! You will receive a passport at the first stop and get stamps at each venue. Bring the completed passport to the Winery and receive a free Not Your Average Farm Tour wine glass to remind you of your experience.

Most important things to remember – show up at 865 Axe Throwing at your allotted time with closed toe shoes and a valid ID. You are responsible for your own transportation. Not too hard, right?

Tours will begin at 9 am, 11 am or 1 pm and are limited to 20 people. Please arrive at 865 Axe Throwing 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time and then take your time and enjoy the beautiful East Tennessee scenery traveling to the next two destinations. Total tour time is around 3 hours. Cut off to complete the trail is 8 pm. Tickets are $55 and must be purchased in advance by calling (865)745-2902. This is a rain or shine event and tickets are non-refundable unless canceled by Not Your Average Farm Tour. You are responsible for your own transportation. Participants must be at least 21 years of age. Please remember to wear closed to shoes and bring a valid ID. This is a farm and wine experience and no exceptions can be made. Sorry, we cannot allow any pets; only verified service animals. If you feel ill or have a temperature over 100 degrees, please stay at home.

Do you enjoy watching Hibachi Chefs work their magic on the griddle in your favorite Japanese Restaurant? Would you like to learn how to prepare your very own hibachi using the freshest ingredients and techniques that will result in a delicious Japanese inspired meal that your entire family can enjoy at home? Then lets get our Hibachi on! The Chef Instructor will walk you through an amazing menu of fried rice, lo mein noodles, sweet carrots, shrimp, hibachi vegetables, and beef tenderloin! Best of all you will get to eat what is prepared in class!

Come and make some candles with 865 Candle Company. They provide all the materials and you will make your very own candle from scratch!

865 Candle Co is excited to now offer Candle Making Classes and they want YOU to join them. Why not bring your best friend, your favorite person, your family, your co-workers, or your wedding party to join you in this wonderful experience. Torrie & AJ will guide you through the process, step by step. In class, you will go on a candle making journey that includes melting your own wax, curating your scent, and creating your own scent name. They have room for 10 people per class and ask that participants be 18 or older. They look forward to hanging out with you and making candle memories that will smell SO GOOD.

Watch & Listen: Spirit of the Nations Powwow

When: Saturday, March 26th, 10am-6pm

Where: Patriot Academy / 419 West Dumplin Valley Rd. Jefferson City

The Spirit of Nations Powwow is an educational, colorful, cultural event for the whole family. This year’s special attraction will be two performances of traditional Choctaw dances by the Mystic Wind Chahta Social Dancers from Choctaw, Mississippi. The powwow will also include competition powwow dancing, flute music, traditional crafts demonstrations, a silent auction, food, children’s activities, and American Indian arts and crafts for sale.

Indian Creek Productions, Inc., is a non-profit organization dedicated to American Indian education. Our goal is to educate children, teachers, and the general public as to the factual culture & history of Native peoples.
