Do: Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival at Maryville College

When: Saturday, May 15th and Sunday, May 16th, 8am-5pm

Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival and Games is held each spring in Maryville, TN USA - come celebrate all things Scottish - family friendly and pet friendly weekend event - music - food - highland games and dancers.

Dozens of colorful Pipe and Drum bands fill the air with the distinctive wail that instantly transports you back in time. The displays provided by Clans and cultural heritage organization groups frame the Main Field, where kilted athletes engage in traditional feats of phenomenal strength, including everyone's favorite, the caber toss. The musical entertainment venues showcase the best in international Celtic entertainers, with a mix of both modern and traditional performers, guaranteed to please music lovers of any age. Vibrantly attired dancers compete in the ballet-like moves that define the grace and beauty of Highland Dance. Sheepdog demonstrations, Scottish animal exhibits, and even a supervised kid's play area ensure plenty of fun and activities for the entire family.

Try: Cuddle Bus @ The Hub w/ SBRET

When: Saturday, May 15th at 1pm-3pm

Where: Knox Brew Hub / 421 Union Ave. Knoxville    

 
IT'S BACK! We've been patiently waiting for the return of the SBRET Cuddle Bus and it's finally here!

Join in Saturday May 15 from 1PM-3PM for 2 full hours of nothing but puppy love!

You will get access to the cuddle bus for a $5 donation to their cause.

IMPORTANT: Masks or proof of vaccination will be required to participate in the cuddle bus.

Additionally, Lori Matthews will be on site with one of kind doggie bandanas (including a one-off design for The Hub!) as well as Adam Pierce with "Pierce of Cake" who makes healthy doggie treats for your fur babies! 
You will have ample opportunities to donate to this wonderful organization by drinking a Hub Lager ($1 goes to SBRET) and visiting their lovely vendors.

Any and all poultry, rabbits, goats and kids, sheep and lambs, pigs and piglets, dogs and puppies, cats and kittens and any legal exotics/pets are welcome!

Fresh eggs, local honey, fresh produce, animal products (hides, hair/wool, feathers, etc.) are welcome as well.
