Scotland in the Smokies! This festival focuses on the Scottish, Irish, and Celtic culture. Presenting folk, roots, rock and pop music, highland athletics, pipes and drums, highland and Irish dance. Not to mention... whisky tastings, vendors and a great selection of beer and food from Scottish, Irish, and British homelands. 

Enjoy a weekend of family fun in the beautiful foothills of Townsend celebrating the Scottish Highlands.

Eat & Drink: Abita Brewing presents the 7th Annual Trailhead Crawfish Boil

When: Sunday, May 21st, 4pm-7pm

Where: Trailhead Beer Market / 1317 Island Home Ave. Knoxville  

Join in at Trailhead Beer Market for their annual crawfish boil. $35 gets you all you can eat crawfish, all the fixin's, and two delicious brews from Abita Brewing. 

Each year they like to add something special to the pot. Last year it was hard-boiled eggs. This year... who knows. Maybe artichoke or pineapple??? 

Try: 80s Trivia Late Night Blacklight Paint Party     

When: Friday, May 19th, 8:30pm-10:30pm
Where: Painting With A Twist / 10939 Kingston Pike, Knoxville  

So you probably know about Painting With A Twist, but how about a Blacklight Paint Party. They will be turning off the lights in the studio and turning on blacklights. Then... Sip. Paint. Relax. 

All the materials will be provided for your Trippy Forest painting. Just bring a drink to sip on, and snacks, if you wish. You will leave with your 16x20 canvas painting. No painting experience needed. 

This is an 18+ event and you must be 21 to consume alcohol.

Watch & Listen: Movies Under The Stars - Star Wars: Return of the Jedi 

When: Friday, May 19th, 7pm-11pm

Where: Ijams Nature Center / 2915 Island Home Ave. Knoxville     

Watch one of the most beloved films of the Star Wars franchise under the stars at Ijams Nature Center. 

Doors open at 7pm, the movie begins at dark. There will be food trucks and the Ijams will have tasty meals, snacks, and beverages available for purchase. No outside coolers or alcohol allowed. Lawn chairs and blankets are recommended. Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed. 

Tickets are $10 per person or $36 for a ticket four-pack. Purchasing tickets ahead is recommended. 

Rated PG, Return of the Jedi joins the story as an epic battle for the fate of the galaxy approaches. The Empire quickly finishes construction on another Death Star battle station, and the Emperor soon arrives to personally oversee the operation. After rescuing Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt, Princess Leia helps organize the Rebel attack and Luke Skywalker prepares for a final confrontation with Darth Vader. Will they succeed against the forces of evil?

Man's Best Furiend: Puppy Paw Painting and Pints

When: Sunday, May 21st, 1-5pm
Where: Orange Hat Brewing Company / 10246 Hardin Valley Rd. Knoxville    

This day is all about your furry friends. Shop local dog businesses for a special treat for your best furiend. Take a photo with your fur-baby. Your ticket will include entry to the event as well as a painting canvas and instruction with your pup, as well as a craft beer from OHB!

Check out the craft brews and pair them with some yummy food from the Collab food truck.
