They will walk you through a delicious menu while demonstrating and explaining cooking techniques that will enable you to prepare the same excellent quality steaks and sides at home! They will cover methods and techniques like shopping for and knowing what steak to choose, checking temperature and getting it right, searing, grilling, sous vide, cutting steaks, seasoning, marinades, and compound butter. Get ready for the most fun and educational class you have ever experienced!

Where: Downtown Knoxville
Santa is sending Scout Elves to Downtown Knoxville for a magical scavenger hunt in more than two dozen downtown businesses! And Saint Nick has granted these special elves permission to remain in Knoxville from Friday, November 25, 2022 to Sunday, January 8, 2023.
You can pick up a North Pole Pass at Mast General Store or Knoxville Visitors Center to guide you through the adventure. The first 5,000 participants will receive a holiday stamp to self-stamp their passes. Or you can download a North Pole Pass here.

Family: Opt Outside - Guided Family Hike
Where: Ijams Nature Center / 2915 Island Home Ave. Knoxville
Join your friends and family to Opt Outside on Black Friday at Ijams Nature Center! With an Ijams naturalist, participants will discover the unique flora and fauna that inhabit our backyards and neighborhoods in East Tennessee through observation and immersive trail games.
Ages: This program is designed for ages 6+
Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 1.5 miles during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This program includes various stopping points.

No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather.
