Edison’s Place Vintage is an eclectic Etsy shop specializing in all things vintage and retro!

CommonPlace Coffee + Community hopes to be South Knoxville’s gathering place. They offer a full menu of coffee, espresso, cold brew, and much more. They also have baked good and a limited menu for breakfast and lunch.

Enjoy a culinary journey to the streets of India without leaving Knoxville in this fun, hands on, and interactive cooking class. Our Chef will unravel the secrets to cooking with spices, discuss which ones are important to have in your home collection and show you techniques for getting the most flavor out of each dish. Then Chef will guide you and others as we prepare a menu of authentic Indian street food favorites. This class will enable you to create complete Indian inspired meals in your very own kitchen! Best of all you will get to eat what we prepare in class so come hungry!

Try: Pawttery Night + Free Treats

Where: Scruffy's Cafe / 1015 North Broadway, Knoxville               

Attend an evening of pottery making with Made from Mud Studio! Ticket includes treats: loaf cake OR iced brownies from our own cafe!

Liberty Collins of MWMS will be walking you through step-by-step on the makings of a air dry cat vase. At this two hour special event, you will create a cat vase in a relaxing, therapeutic environment alongside the cafe cats! After your creation is finished air drying, you will be able to take your masterpiece home!

All cats are up for adoption from the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase from the lobby.

Watch & Listen: Circus Moon at Ijams

When: Friday, November 5th, 6:30pm-8:30pm

Where: Ijams Natue Center / 2915 Island Home Ave. Knoxville

Return to Circus Moon!! Join in the fun and magic with the extremely talented troupe of performers for Circus Moon part 2 at Ijams Nature Center on Friday November 5 from 6:30 to 8:30pm. 

Circus Moon will fill the night with acrobatic and fire performances, jugglers, music, and so much more. Gates opens at 5:30pm, show begins at 6:30pm. There will be beer sales and a food truck on site. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children ages 6-12, and kids 5 and under will be free. Bring your lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the performance from the lawn in front of the Visitor Center at Ijams.

Come one, come all to the circus of the Moon. It is with a big heart and a footprint that’s small, we offer you the magic of music, acrobatics, stunts, thrills and chills under the stars. Under the moon we aspire to inspire your love of our exciting and dangerous acts of human skill and daring.
