This Market is a treasured event in Maryville! 90 fantastic makers, bakers, growers, artists, and artisans gather on the beautiful campus of Maryville College twice a year. You will find engaging local storytellers, bee-keeping lecture, live music, give-aways throughout the day, scratch-made treats, great food trucks, handcrafted goods, and creative activities for kids. The Market has much to offer and continues to grow, yet it has kept its charm.

Join in every Saturday from 11am-3pm to enjoy a Farmers' Market Brunch! Each Saturday, a member from their kitchen staff will shop the market and find an ingredient to use to create a special dish. This dish will be the special of the day, on top of their brand new brunch menu!

Family: Discover & Explore The Pinta
Where: Fort Loudon Marina / 5200 City Park Drive, Lenoir City
On Friday 13th the “Pinta”, a Replica of a Portuguese Caravel used by Columbus and many early explorers will open as a “floating museum” for dockside educational tours. The Ship will be docked at Fort Loudon Marina, 5200 City Park Dr, Lenoir City, TN 37772 until her departure October 18th.
In 2005, the Pinta was Launched in Brazil after 3 years of Construction. The Ship was built by 8th Generation Portuguese Shipwrights using the same methods and hand tools that were used to build the original in the 15th Century. The Pinta was the first ship to sight land on the famous voyage of discovery on October 12th, 1492.
The general public is invited to step back in time & explore the Pinta for self guided tours from the 13th-17th October from 9:00a-5:00p daily. No reservations are necessary. Tickets are purchased at the Ship and prices are $8.00 for Adults, $7.00 for Seniors/Military (65+), and $6.00 for Children (5 – 16). Children 4 and under are Free.

Watch & Listen: Spooked! Sunset Cinema Double Feature
Where: Corryton Park / 7737 Corryton Rd. Knoxville
The Knox County Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a very special Sunset Cinema. Spooked! Sunset Cinema Friday the 13th Double feature will be showing at Corryton Park on Friday, October 13th.
Activities for this Halloween-themed event will begin at 7:30 pm. Movies will begin at dusk with Hotel Transylvania, and Friday the 13th the movie showing immediately after.
Knox County Parks and Recreation is planning games, food trucks, vendors AND an adult and youth costume contest! So come out to Corryton park in the Halloween spirit. Let’s get spooky in the park under the stars! This event is FREE and open to the public, and no alcoholic beverages are allowed in the park.

Tennessee Football: Football Fridays
The East Tennessee Historical Society invites you to a historic Friday night pep rally at the East Tennessee History Center. Enjoy food from Smith's Endzone BBQ , Schulz Brau beer served by the Tap Truck, and music. Get in the game spirit with a special appearance by UT’s own history maker Lester McClain. The free event will take place on Market Street between Church and Clinch Ave, behind the East Tennessee History Center.
