Do: Candle Making Workshop  

When: Sunday, September 17th, 12pm or 3pm
Where: Maker Exchange / 710 Clinch Ave. Knoxville 

Make some candles with 865 Candle Co. at Maker Exchange. They provide all the materials and guide you through making your very own candle from scratch! In class, you will go on a candle making journey that includes melting your own wax, curating your scent, and creating your own scent name. Participants must be 18 or older. There is a session at 12pm and 3pm.

Family: Paint with a Turtle Workshop

When: Saturday, September 16th, 2pm-4pm

Where: Ijams Nature Center / 2915 Island Home Ave. Knoxville 

Join Hannah Doss of Mountain Mama's at Ijams on Saturday, September 16, from 2-4 pm to meet, learn about, and paint Topaz, an eastern box turtle!

This one-of-a-kind workshop will begin with a meet-and-greet introducing Topaz, one of Ijams' animal ambassadors, followed by a beginner-friendly painting lesson to create your very own Topaz masterpiece.

This is an all-levels course. Whether you're a stick-figure newbie or professional painter, you won't want to miss out on this unique painting experience!

Tickets are $45 for this two-hour experience.  All painting supplies are included.  Preregistration is required.

Limited to 24 participants! Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Watch & Listen: Dumplin Valley Bluegrass Festival

When: Thursday, September 14th - Saturday, September 16th

Where: 525 East Dumplin Valley Rd. Kodak

The annual Dumplin Valley Bluegrass Festival in Kodak, Tennessee brings many great bands to the area. There will be free parking, food and merchandise vendors, restrooms and showers, camping by reservation, and lots of jamming.

Vols Football:  TN vs. FL at the LoCo Drive-In

When: Saturday, September 16th, Tailgating Starts at 12pm
Where: LoCo Drive-In / 455 Centre Park Dr. Loudon

Join the LoCo Drive-In every game day for Tailgating, BBQ, and Football. Sons of Smoke Food Truck along with $2.50 canned beer and more delicious food and drinks from the LoCo Concessions Stand. Cheer on the Vols from the LED big screen!
