The Sevier County Fair will be seven days of fun! A true agricultural fair, the Sevier County Fair has something for everyone. They have livestock shows, rides, games, free laser tag, nightly contests, and oh so much more. From young to old, through the generations, the county fair is calling you!

The Knox County Jaycees are proud to present the 4th annual “Cornhole for a Cause”, a cornhole tournament benefiting Next Step Initiative.
Next Step Initiative is a homeless harm reduction outreach agency focused on improving the quality of life for our most marginalized populations. NSI feeds people and provides referrals to mental, physical, housing, legal, and addiction recovery services. At their center, they provide on-site wound care and disease testing, access to showers, laundry, and a space for people to receive arts education. They focus on compassion, connection, and love. Come as you are, they love you like that!

Family: Kid's Hike and Weave Workshop
Where: Ijams Nature Center / 2915 Island Home Ave. Knoxville
Romp, stomp and weave with Ijams Nature Center on Sept. 4th at 1pm for a family friendly Hike and Weave Workshop! Children will learn the basics of tradtional weaving in the classroom and then head out for a guided hike to collect items to weave into their own take home looms.
Each ticket provides instruction and materials for one child. A parent or guarian must stay with the child the whole class (Supervising adult does not have to pay for a ticket)
This class is recommended for ages 4 and up.
