It's February, the month of all things love and romance, President's Day, and whether that furry rodent will see his shadow. Kick February off with a great start by using our to do list as a guide for your weekends.

You are cordially invited to attend the 2018 Beat the Winter Blues Wine and Cheese Party benefiting the Knoxville Ronald McDonald House. Please join in for a magical evening of wine, cheese, music, unique ice sculptures, and beautiful blooming flowers that will melt away your winter blues. Tickets are just $40 per person and casual dress is encouraged. This is a very popular event, so make your reservations early by calling 865-637-7475.

Central Filling Station is Knoxville's first full-service food truck park and their first weekend open for business is this weekend! They are a family-friendly, dog-friendly neighborhood hangout featuring a daily rotation of Knoxville’s best food trucks and local beverages! Little River Trail to Cucumber Gap to Jakes Creek (with side trail to the Avent Cabin) and back down Jakes Creek to the parking lot at Little River Trail. Meet at Little River Trading Company at 9am. This is a moderate hike that totals 5.6 miles plus a short side-trip to the Avent Cabin which is the second oldest cabin in Elkmont. Bring multi-layered moisture wicking clothes, water, plenty of snacks, lunch, trekking poles, warm hat, gloves, MicroSpikes and camera (optional). The trail is located in Elkmont and the total elevation gain is 830 ft.
