It's February, the month of all things love and romance, President's Day, and whether that furry rodent will see his shadow. Kick February off with a great start by using our to do list as a guide for your weekends. 

Do: Beat The Winter Blues Wine & Cheese Party 

When: Friday, February 2nd, 5:30pm-7:30pm
Where: Stanley's Greenhouse / 3029 Davenport Rd. Knoxville   

You are cordially invited to attend the 2018 Beat the Winter Blues Wine and Cheese Party benefiting the Knoxville Ronald McDonald House. Please join in for a magical evening of wine, cheese, music, unique ice sculptures, and beautiful blooming flowers that will melt away your winter blues. Tickets are just $40 per person and casual dress is encouraged. This is a very popular event, so make your reservations early by calling 865-637-7475. 

Eat: Opening Weekend at Central Filling Station 

When: Saturday, February 3rd, 4pm-10pm
Where: Central Filling Station / 900 N. Central St. Knoxville

Central Filling Station is Knoxville's first full-service food truck park and their first weekend open for business is this weekend! They are a family-friendly, dog-friendly neighborhood hangout featuring a daily rotation of Knoxville’s best food trucks and local beverages! Try: Moderate Guided Hike - Little River to Jake's Creek 

When: Saturday, February 3rd, 9am - 5pm
Where: Little River Trading Company / 2408 E Lamar Alexander Pkwy, Maryville

Little River Trail to Cucumber Gap to Jakes Creek (with side trail to the Avent Cabin) and back down Jakes Creek to the parking lot at Little River Trail. Meet at Little River Trading Company at 9am. This is a moderate hike that totals 5.6 miles plus a short side-trip to the Avent Cabin which is the second oldest cabin in Elkmont. Bring multi-layered moisture wicking clothes, water, plenty of snacks, lunch, trekking poles, warm hat, gloves, MicroSpikes and camera (optional). The trail is located in Elkmont and the total elevation gain is 830 ft.

Where: Thompson Boling Arena / 1600 Phillip Fulmer Way, Knoxville 

Basketball doesn't get the love around here like football does, but we have a great team this year and things are looking great for the Rick Barnes era. Now ranked No. 22 in the nation if you haven't checked out a game recently now is the time to go. Buy tickets here
