Great Life RE Weekend To Do List, April 13-15
Are you superstitious? Because our weekend kicks of on Friday the 13th. Don't let that stop you from going out and having a good time because we've picked out 6 fun things for you to do this weekend!
Do: Dogwood Arts Birding Hike
When: Saturday, April 14th, 10:30am-12:30pm
Where: Seven Islands State Birding Park / 2809 Kelly Ln., Kodak
Enjoy a mid-morning, 2 mile jaunt along Kelly Greenway and Seclusion Bend Trail as their guides highlight the rich history of the park, as well as current projects, and, of course, identify migratory songbirds along the way!
This hike is free to the public and is family friendly. The terrain is mostly flat, and participants should bring water, binoculars, etc. They will meet in the Bluebird Barn at the entrance of the park.

Following the hike, join in at the Bluebird Barn as they host TN Brew Works Knoxville Launch Party for their new TN State Park Blonde Ale! Event will include free tastings, food trucks, and live music!

Eat: Annual Crawfish Boil

Blooming dogwood trees are the stars of Knoxville's signature spring event, the month-long (each year in April) Dogwood Arts Festival. Throughout her life, Lisa Stanley has been an avid fan of the festival and the dogwood trails located in neighborhoods throughout our area. In this free workshop, Lisa shares how you can keep our region blooming by adding dogwood trees and accompanying perennials and annuals to your lawn or garden.
