Sunday is Mother's Day! Make sure to spend some time with the special "mom" in your life. Not sure what to do with her? We've got a whole list of suggestions! When: Friday, May 11th (9am-6pm), Saturday, May12th &  Sunday, May 13th (9am-4pm)

Need a last minute Mother's Day gift? New Midland Plaza Spring Arts and Crafts Fair may have just what you need! Join in for all forms of crafts, ranging from candles and jewelry to paintings and kid-friendly archery bows! Plus there will be eight local food trucks with all kinds of deliciousness to enjoy.

Try: Floral Design Workshop

When: Saturday, May 12th, 10am-12pm
Where: UT Gardens / 2518 Jacob Dr. Knoxville 

Develop your horticultural and creative skills by incorporating flowers from your garden into stunning flower arrangements. This class will cover the the basics of floral design including color combinations, elements of design, what supplies to use, tips to make your bouquets last longer and which flowers to grow for your own cutting garden. Participants will take home their own bouquet. Cost: Garden member $35/nonmember $45

Guests can celebrate with new parents, Puzzle and Swiss, African painted dogs who debuted their litter of 5 puppies in April. Visitors can also explore the all new Gibbon Trails and Langur Landing and take a break to cool off with some water play at the Clayton Safari Splash, which will open for the season on Sunday.

Nothing beats good food and tunes on the water. Join  AdamT as they celebrate year 1 of the new Harbor Grille. Formerly Dockside Grill, The Harbor Grille will sport a revamped menu, ice cold beverages (adult and otherwise), and music on their newly remodled balcony. Family Friendly and no cover. AdamT is a musician that does solo acoustic cover songs for the masses from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and today!
