Try: Beginner Crochet Workshop

When: Saturday, February 16th, 10am-11:30am
Where: Ramsey House / 2614 Thorngrove Pike, Knoxville 

Learn how to start a crochet project with Alyssa Ford. No prior experience. Learn stitches for crochet and double crochet. You will start a basic dish cloth or scarf, go over techniques, and discuss essential supplies. All supplies will be provided by instructor. Get tickets here.

Bring the family to Ijams Nature Center for a great time celebrating all things owl! Adults and kids alike will gain a deeper appreciation for these animals while having a "hoot" of their own. There will be Owl games, Owl pellets, Owl meet and greets, Owl walks, and even an Owl call competition.

LOCATION: This program meets in the Visitor Center at Ijams Nature Center and includes time on Ijams trails

REGISTRATION: The fee for this program is $10 for individual tickets and $35 for a family ticket. Family tickets cover up to 2 adults and 4 children under the age of 18. Registration ends TODAY. Watch & Listen: Knoxville Symphony - Timeless Romance, Swan Lake and more

When: Friday, February 15th, 7:30pm-9:30pm
Where: Tennesse Theatre / 604 S. Gay St., Knoxville 

Spend your Valentine's Weekend  with the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. The KSO will perform music from Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake.

Opening the program is a scene from Frederick Delius’ opera, 'A Village Romeo and Juliet.' Dancers from the Appalachian Ballet Company will join the stage for Falla's “El Amor Brujo (Love, the Magician): Ballet Suite.” The evening concludes with symphonic selections from the beloved Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky.

Please allow extra time for parking downtown and arriving at the theatre. All patrons are subject to electronic wand and bag search at security.
