Do: Beginning Genealogy  

When: Saturday, February 1, 1pm-4pm
Where: Knox County Public Library System ET History Center / 610 S Gay St. Knoxville 

Getting started in genealogy can be quite daunting, but there are many resources that are readily available to help you in your search. These workshops teach basic genealogy. Check out the Knox County Public Library website for more info on getting started before the workshop starts.

How to begin your family search using charts and forms, free internet sites, genealogy software, and other sources.

Eat & Drink: SWATaco Food Truck at Next Level Brewing

When: Friday, January 31, 6pm-10pm
Where: Next Level Brewing / 700 North Broadway, Knoxville

Join Board & Brush for a Make & Take workshop! They provide all the materials and instruct you step-by-step to create a beautiful piece for your home or for a gift. Choose from a variety of paint colors in the workshop. They look forward to seeing you soon! All boards will be prestained Dark Walnut but you will have an options to do a dry brush technique on top. This is a Kid Friendly event! Board & Brush Knoxville is a BYOB establishment.

For example if 1 person makes 3 wands it will be $17. If a group of 3 people come in to make wands and each person makes 1 wand it will be $21.
