Corn is where it all started for Narramore Farms... it put them on the map and they are excited about their 1st Annual Sweet Corn Festival. Only $5 to get in! You can purchase their sweet corn straight from the farm before it's available anywhere else. Enjoy an ear fresh off the grill. There will be farm fun for the kiddos, music for everyone to enjoy, shop local vendors, and top the evening off with making s'mores by the bonfire.

Eat & Drink: Date Night - A Culinary Journey to India

When: Friday, June 21st, 6pm-9pm
Where: The Cutting Edge Classroom / 817 N Herron Rd, Knoxville 

In this fun, hands on, interactive class you will embark on a culinary journey to India without leaving Knoxville! This introduction to Indian cooking class will unravel the secrets to cooking with spices, discuss which ones are important to have in your home collection and show you techniques for getting the most flavor out of each dish. After taking this class you’ll be able to create a complete Indian meal along with mouthwatering desserts. Then we will sit down and enjoy what we created in class! The knowledge you will gain can be applied to any dish that utilizes these core Indian spices. Price is for one couple.

Try: June Cades Cove Run

When: Saturday, June 22nd, 7am-10am
Where: Cades Cove / Cades Cove Loop Rd. Townsend

You have an option of 3, 8, and 11ish mile runs along the loop road. All paces welcome. Meet at bicycle rental area. Come with plenty of time to find parking. Potluck brunch to follow in the picnic area. You'll love every minute of this beautiful run.

This class will introduce classic yoga, meditation, breath work, and stress-management in a kid-friendly style with original music, games, and imaginative stories.

They have some mats on hand to borrow, but please bring your own if you have one.

Recommended ages: 4-10

$12+ tax for one class or $40+ tax for four classes

- All participants must complete the liability waiver. All minors must have their waiver formed signed by a parent or guardian.

- Please register online as space is limited. Parents/Guardians please register online. Children do not need to be registered online. Please do not create an online profile for any child under the age of 14.

- This is a family class, not a "kids-only" class. A parent/guardian/family member is required to be present during the family class.

- BRY is an adult-oriented studio. Children under the age of 14 are allowed in the studio only during special kid-friendly events, such as the Family Yoga Class. We do not offer childcare.

Watch & Listen: Summer Movie Magic

When: Friday, June 21st, 8pm and Sunday, June 23rd, 3pm
Where: Tennessee Theatre / 604 S Gay St, Knoxville

This year Summer Movie Magic which will include twelve movie titles, twice as many as in years past. Friday night screenings will feature modern or cult classics and Sunday matinees will feature older classics or family films.

There’s something for everyone in the 21st Summer Movie Magic lineup! Movie-goers will travel back in time and see these classics, as they should be: in a historic theater surrounded by other movie-lovers, enjoying some popcorn and a cold drink. Come experience some of your favorite classics on the big screen! Prior to each screening, hear the Mighty Wurlitzer organ fill the auditorium with magnificent music by House Organist Freddie Brabson.

Tickets can be purchased starting Friday, May 10 at 10am at the Tennessee Theatre box office, Ticketmaster.com or by phone at 865-684-1200. The ticket price for each movie is $9.00 for adults, $7.00 for children under 12 and seniors 65 and over; and a six-entry punch card is $45.00 for adults and $36.00 for children and seniors.
