Do: Holiday Movie Night - "Elf"

When: Saturday, November 9th, 6pm-8pm
Where: The Old Mill / 175 Old Mill Ave. Pigeon Forge

Kick off the holidays with a free movie night at the Old Mill. Stop in for the Holiday Open House for some holiday shopping, grab a bite to eat at our restaurants and enjoy a showing of Elf. Movie begins at 6 pm on the Pottery House Café front lawn. Bring a blanket or chair, snacks will be available.

Where: The Cutting Edge Classroom / 817 North Herron Rd. Knoxville        

Learn all about Mexican Street Foods in this fun, hands on, and interactive class that is perfect for anyone that wants to explore this amazing and freshly prepared cuisine! Mexico is well known for its street food and you will explore and create some of the staples and most sought after favorites! The end result will be a fun and delicious meal that will make you feel like you traveled to Mexico City!

Try: Chunky Knit Blanket Workshop

It’s the perfect time to register for the Chunky Knit Blanket Workshop®! In this workshop, they will guide you step-by-step through the hand knitting process to create a super cozy, one-of-a-kind blanket. Make one for you or one as a gift! The blanket requires no needles or knitting experience! The registration fee is $85.50 and includes all materials and instruction. You will receive enough chunky chenille yarn to make an (approximately) 40" x 50" blanket.

Join Nourish Knoxville for Power of Produce (PoP) Club at the Market Square Farmers' Market every second Saturday of the month! This free children's program is open to the public and provides a fun opportunity for children to engage in the local food system through conversations with farmers, educational games and demonstrations, and exposure to new fruits and vegetables. In addition to participating in educational activities, PoP Club kids receive vouchers (PoP Bucks) to spend, allowing them to make their own shopping decisions at the market. PoP Clubs are found at farmers’ markets across the country, and Nourish Knoxville brings this program to multiple Knox County farmers’ markets.

Watch & Listen: Fall Porchfest 2019

When: Saturday, November 9th, 3pm-9pm
Where: 1535 Woodbine Ave. Knoxville 

Fallelujah! Break out your flannel and hoodies and join in for another Porchfest Fall Edition. They have a full lineup. Please consider bringing a pot of your best chili and an appetite.

Music will start promptly at 3 pm. Feel free to bring chairs, blankets, or whatever it takes to get your Fall vibe going.

This is a kid-friendly event, but alcoholic beverages are absolutely welcomed. Feel free to bring your beverage of choice. There will be coolers available for public use.

The location is 1535 Woodbine Avenue and is located behind Caswell Park and down the street from Ashley Nicole Dream Park. There will be street parking but parking at the park and walking down may be your best option.
