October is here! The month of corn mazes, bonfires, Halloween, and so much more! We've added a little something to our weekend list just to celebrate this time of the year! While we are in October we will feature "Something Spooky!" Scroll down to see more!

Do: The Great Llama Race 

When: Saturday, October 6th, 11am-4pm 
Where: World's Fair Park, Knoxville 

The most unique event ever! Llamas racing, llama costume contest, great entertainment, music, games, competitions, prizes, children's crafts, vendors, llama games and much more! Something for everyone! The event is hosted by Casa de Sara and all proceeds from the event go to Casa de Sara, local schools, and Southeast Llama Rescue. Casa De Sara Is A 501(C)3 Organization That Provides Education And Opportunities For At-Risk Children And Their Families To Improve Their Lives And Their Communities.

Eat & Drink: Open Fire Cooking Workshop 

When: Saturday, October 6th, 10am-4:30pm
Where: Ramsey House / 2614 Thorngrove Pike, Knoxville 

Be prepared to work for your supper! Learn the fundamentals of open fire cooking with this hands-on, all day fire cooking workshop by Mr. Jim Buckenmeyer that ends with a delicious feast! Bring a comfy chair and be regaled with stories from the past and join the camaraderie of community cooking. Class fee $40 ($35 for members)

Learn to paint a Bob Ross Style mountain landscape in oils using the tools and technique made famous by Bob himself on PBS Television. Discover how fun and enjoyable painting can be with large brushes and a big palette knife! This is the last weekend that Knoxville Children's Theater, in partnership with Clayton Foundation will present the live performance of Disney's "101 Dalmations Kids," a new adaptation of the classic Disney film for children and families. The play contains all the wonderful Disney songs from the hilarious film.

Watch & Listen: Jason Ellis at Harbor Grille

Jason Ellis will not be playing this Sunday at Harbor Grille. Check him out next Sunday! However, the Harbor Grille has great talent lined up this weekend! Head out there and get some great food at the marina.

Spooky: The Great Fire Investigation 

When: Friday, October 5th, 10pm-3am
Where: Maple Hall / 414 South Gay St. Knoxville 

“Bringing History Alive: Explore and Investigate the Million Dollar Fire" after hours at Maple Hall. For the first time ever Haunted Knoxville Ghost Tours in conjunction with Maple Hall will be offering to the public the opportunity to work with J-Adam Smith: Film Actor / Paranormal Historian and Knoxghost Investigators to do a real Paranormal Investigation of this truly Traumatic ground zero of the 1897 Million Dollar Fire. Included in your ticket is: paranormal investigation, "bowling with the Spirits", snacks and refreshments, use of professional ghost hunting equipment, souvinier lanyards, and free pics and autographs.
