Weekend To Do List - Safer At Home Edition

Each week we bring you the Great Life RE Weekend To Do List. We don't want to stop now! Experts say staying at home is the safest way to be. All over the country, and world, things are shutting down so we can stay home and try to be safe. It's easy to go stir-crazy at home, but thankfully there are a lot of ways to stay active and safe while you're practicing social distancing.

So let's try another week of the Great Life RE Weekend To Do List: Safer At Home  Edition!

Do: Adopt a High School Senior in Knox County

If anyone would like to ADOPT-A-SENIOR from one of the Knox County High Schools (KCS) or adopt a Knox County Home School Senior Class of 2020, please consider joining this Facebook Group!

The purpose of this group is so people can find a 2020 graduate to "adopt" and celebrate him/her by sending them something special.

Since the Seniors of Class 2020 have had their year cut short, let's show them some love by mailing them a gift card or making them a goodie basket and putting it on their porch. Let's brighten their day because they are missing out on so much.

Go to the Facebook page for more information and to help put a smile on a Seniors face!

Taking risks, learning from mistakes, following directions, fostering creativity, curiosity, and resilience, becoming independent, trying new things: these are qualities they seek to develop in our children and there’s no better place to nurture them than in the kitchen.
