Each week we bring you the Great Life RE Weekend To Do List. We don't want to stop now! As we tread these dangerous waters many people are still staying home or social distancing and being cautious. While we wait for things to get better, we want to bring you plenty of great things to do. It's easy to go stir-crazy at home, but thankfully there are a lot of ways to stay active and safe while you're practicing social distancing. 

So let's try another week of the Great Life RE Weekend To Do List: Social Distancing Edition! 

Do: Try A Pot

When: Saturday, July 25th, 1pm-3pm

Where: Studio 212 Arts / 934 E Broadway Ave, Maryville 

Reservations are required for this class.

Wear old clothes and come get muddy in this class. If you have always wanted to try your luck on the potter's wheel this is your chance. We will go over centering and pulling up a pot in the class. Students can expect to make 1 - 3 pieces.

Eat & Drink: National Tequila Day at Chuy's

When: Friday, July 24th, 11am-10pm
Where: Chuy's / 9235 Kingston Pike, Knoxville

Try: Kitten Pilates with Susie Que

When: Saturday, July 25th,1pm-2pm

Where: Whole Body Massage and Pilates / 151 Sherway Road, Suite 6, Knoxville

They are back for another hour of Pilates with Susie Que and the most adorable residents at Young Williams: Their Kittens!

To keep participants, instructors and volunteers safe they are taking additional health purr-cautions. If possible, please bring your own yoga mat and wear a mask. Instructors will sanitize the studio between sessions and they are limiting the class size to 10 participants to ensure enough space in the studio to socially distance.

Tickets are $20 and 100% of proceeds benefit the pets at Young-Williams Animal Center!

Family: Parent and Child Basic Cake Decorating with Fondant

In this fun, hands on, and interactive cake decorating class you and your child will learn how to decorate a cake using fondant. You will practice coating a cake with buttercream and applying the fondant. Then you will decorate the cakes using fondant cutouts and other methods. You will also learn how to properly color your fondant. This class is perfect for beginners or anyone that wants to enjoy some fun time with their child. Everyone will go home with the cake they decorated! Price is for one adult and one child.

Watch and Listen: Outdoor Social Distancing Comedy Event

When: Saturday, July 25th, 8pm-10pm
Where: Round 6 Brewing / 427 Whitecrest Drive, Maryville 

 Cristy B Comedy will be bringing a 2-hour stand up showcase to the Beer Garden at Round 6 Brewing. It will be a night of laughter and fun with professional comedians, Round 6 Brewing beer and R6B Kitchen food! All properly socially distanced for your comfort and safety.
